dont worry, but do you know any compositions in raags of Satguru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj, maharaj wrote all the bani in raag for a reason nowadays we follow bollywood just make up our own compositions because we think we know more than our guru. every time i hear shabad sung in anything but the title raag i feel disheartened. Spread gurmat sangeet. it is the only way.

veer music has no limits, no boundries, no race, no culture, no hollywood, no bollywood....

think about one thingf. when a ragi creates a musical tune, we call it shabad tune and when a bollywood music director creates a tunes by using the same 7 surs, we call it a song.... why? both of them have used the same surs as what our suru ji has done in their raags... we need to open our mind up and not let it too attached to the tune but lets listen to the shabad and understand. wjkk wjkf

uhm yea...i tried to do this on the vaja you cannot even play along try using the one finger method so we know what keys ur hittting...argh fustrating but thanks for posting it icve beeen loooking for this gurooo!

lol, this is not darmy's tune.... darmy plays in different way.... this one was jacked from a ragi from delhi...lol, i dont remember his name...

darmy plays the similar kinda tune made by bhai niranjan singh ji jawaddi kala wale...

both tunes are very similar though...

I've seen Jarnail Singh plays this tune in simran on every monday at smethwick gurughar...!!!

Knowingly or unknowingly you are doing the great job veerji... this is a very big sewa.... i use to learn the key as it is and i recite here in gurudwara... sometimes, i feel that no body is here to teach us... guess what, i have started browsing youtube almost 6 hours a day on weekends...

I agree with you that bani comes first, hence Gurmat Sangeet, first is gurmat, but Satguru Ji has blessed us with gurmat sangeet we are just telling th guru 2 go away and take back your gift, coz we dont want it. its isnt about using a certain amount of sur (by th way there are 12 not 7, there are 7 shud but dont forget about komal and tivar) it is about singing bani in the title raag.
