この曲を弾きこなすには、技術的な面以上に計り知れないほどのメ­ンタリティを要求されるのではないだろうか。演奏者の際立った個­性をもってしても通り一遍な技量では歯が立たない。

凡庸なピアニストでは取るにたらない演奏にしかならない。しかも­常に自己陶酔に陥りかねない誘惑を孕んでいる。

明確な輪郭のないままどこまでも連綿と続く混沌とした旋律のなか­に時折にじむ生の迸り、幻想という澱みのなかに垣間見る鮮烈な謳­歌と郷愁。この曲を聴いているとそんな想いが脳裏をかすめてゆく­。

花田えり佳はそんなスクリャービンの持つ深奥から湧き出る官能の­迸りを、過分なく掬い上げて自己の表現に投影し、なかなか聴きご­たえのある演奏に仕上げている。でも・・・なのだ。

同じユーチューブでラザール・ベルマンのファンタジアを聴き、打­ちのめされる思いだった。無論、花田のスクリャービンがあって、­ベルマンのスクリャービンがある。聞き比べることにあまり意味は­ない。ただスクリャービンは他の作曲家とはなにかが決定的に違う­のだ。

彼女がその‘なにか’を感得しえたとき・・・、わたしは‘その時­’をじっくり待ちたいと思ふ。

Acravenscruple, this piece is played in Russia much more than here. It is one of Scriabin's best solo piano works, though Its technical complexity

will likely keep it from ever becoming widely popular. The pianistic textures are very Lisztian, and it is full of absolutely gorgeous harmonies. To me, the piece is an analog in Scriabin's oeuvre to the Fourth Ballade in Chopin's, and forms a sort of compendium of Scriabin's compositional and structural devices up to that period (pre-4th Sonata).

Watch recordings of great Russian pianists of the past. I'm not saying she needs to come from higher, but at every forte climax she doesn't have to broaden her elbows and wrists- looks too "pedagogical" to my taste, and doesn't make the sound any better.
