DNC WEB VIDEO: More of the Same

BIDEN: Theres not one fundamental economic issue on which John McCain has challenged George Bush or his policies. [Biden Campaign Rally, 10/21/08]

CHYRON: McCain Campaign: Your Response?

QUESTION: Senator Graham, John McCain is calling for an extension, or maybe even enhancement of the Bush policies?

GRAHAM: Yeah. Absolutely. [ABCs This Week, 6/8/08]

LIZ CHENEY: I think on the really important issues that face the country, on issues like the war on terror and the economy, Senator McCain in fact is advocating those policies that those of us who supported President Bush and the Vice President believe are the right ones for this nation. [MSNBC, 6/23/08]

QUESTION: So it would be in effect a third Bush term when it came to pro-growth tax policies?

HOUSE REPUBLICAN WHIP ROY BLUNT (R-MO): It would be. I think it would be. And I think thats a good thing. [CNN, 5/11/08]

QUESTION: Can you name one economic issue where McCain has been different than the President?

SEN. JON KYL (R-AZ): I don't choose to. [MSNBC, 10/21/08]

QUESTION: Are there any significant economic differences between what the Bush administration has put forward over these many years as opposed to now what John McCain supports?

GOV. MARK SANFORD (R-SC): Um, yeah. For instance, take, you know, take, for instance, the issue of -- I'm drawing a blank, and I hate it when I do that, particularly on television. Take, for instance the contrast on NAFTA..

QUESTION: I dont see, uh, hes a huge supporter of free trade, John McCain. The Bush Administration supports free trade. I dont see a big difference between the two on free trade.

SANFORD: No, I was going to go to a point, which was what you would want is consistency with regard to that position. [CNN, 7/13/08]

  • It's funny watching this now because Obama's foreign policy is MORE OF THE SAME!

  • @MEXICANCONGRESSOCT10 lol obama is spending trillions more

  • Is this Obama's 1st term or Bush's 3rd? Obama, Biden, and the Democratic National Convention said that McCain would be, "more of the same." Obama has kept Bush's time-table in Iraq, sent more troops to Afghanistan, kept Guantanamo open, and strengthened the Patriot act. The Democrats neglected to mention that voting for Obama would also give us more of the same.

  • Look at the areas comprised of poorer racial minorities -blacks and Natives- that the government pumped into? Corporatist casinos that don't help Natives, welfare dependence, reserves and some of the lowest life expectancies in the western world. In Canada, the average age for developing alcohol dependency for Natives is SEVEN. The government should leave them and the middle class alone to let them flourish. The middle class shoulders the socialized losses while special interests privatize gains

  • the "working class" comprises, what, the lowest 10% of the economic ladder? Come on. Middle class makes up the vast majority. Care about the middle class, not this superficial "working" class. I'm so sick of that term, too. "Working class", as if people on higher rungs of the ladder don't work hard. please

  • Who ever says the last 8 has'nt been that bad, is a retard! stupid, dumm, we never even went after Osama Binn Olaudin, we went to Irack, hello, wake-up.

  • brian31785-

at least they are being HONEST

  • Id rather have Bush 3, than Carter 2!!!!!!

The last 8 years have not accually been that bad. We are under a terrible illusian made by the media (mostly left, but right can be blamed too) Only the last 2 have been terrible, since the DEMOCRATS held congress! The first 6, gas prices were steady, the GDP grew drastically, unemployment was dropped lower than Clinton. Bush's policys have stopped 1000s of attempted terrorists attacks since 9/11. Id say its working.

    Check out channel- weneedmccain

  • The last dude was just freakin' pathetic. P-A-I-N-F-U-L!

  • compiling isn't really "editing". These have been sourced. Nice try, though.
