Removing the plastic shield on the back probably minimized their cost so they would only have to use one mould and not put energy into adding shields...

I have this case and I hate it. It does give some minimal protection but it's sticky silicone and is a huge pain to take out of your pocket. I'm sorry I wasted my money on this case. The reason I'm here watching reviews is because I hate this case so much I never use it.

i have this case too its amazing im a clumsy guy when it comes to phones soooo i was happy when im glad i have it.....the only thing and i mean literally the only thing that sucks about this case is that is stretches.....so it now covers my camera a bit now idk if all silicon cases do that but ya.......

your wrong about the stretchy cases being lint catures and the non stretchy ones not being lint catures. I have a griffin flexgrip action silicone case for my ipod touch 4g and the silicone isnt that stretchy but it collects ALOT of dust and lint
