Technology is a powerful catalyst for education, innovation and economic growth. Yet it is estimated that five billion people worldwide still have no access to technology or to the opportunities it can provide. Bringing the benefits of technology to the next five billion people will require new products that meet the needs of underserved communities, creative new business approaches that make technology more accessible and affordable, and deep partnerships with local governments and community organizations.
The development products Microsoft produces (software development) are even distributed equitably; there is the specter of needing 6GiB DDR3 on any given system in order to run all the required daemons Microsoft environments promise to entail, but somehow even the vmhosts side is 320MB at worst in practice. Thanks for that. @largraf: Yes, stealth and public event bookings and press releases, FTW.

Paul allens patent war is going to finish off innovation all together, if you keep patenting thigns it is neccessary to actually develop them at one point rather then just premutate technical words and then fire them off at the patent office.

Bill, you've been drawn in by stealth and you're being duped. Soros is pulling your strings like a puppet.
