PS: check the Kimbers out too if you like the feel of this and other 1911-style grips. Dont mean to advertise but my TLE is my first line of defense, although let me tell you. Even though I got my Kimber for $600 that is an insane deal, most are $900+, and if you are a first time gun-owner and looking for the best defensive pistol around...I'd go with an
XDm .40 or 9mm
Simple, safe, reliable, and insanely durable. 500-700 bucks.
Then buy a kimber :D

Just bought one of these babies in .40 for $500 bucks flat! This is my third pistol, I own a Beretta 92FS, Kimber 1911 TLE2 (my baby), and this, brand new. This has the BEST out of the box I have ever tested. Definitly a better feel then the glock 22 .40 in comparrison. Best .40 out there. The recoil is slightly more then my Beretta at most, great balance, accuracy. All it needs is some night sights and a tac-light/laser combo for company :)

I was in factory.
Felt like a child in the chocolate factory!
They made they first rifle,but it does not seems as good as XD and XDm,
it is bullpup design (named VHS) in .223
looks like FAMAS but much better and lighter,
about 5 pounds only!I suggest them to make it in 6.8 SPC and made some minor functional and aesthetic improvements.Judging the firts factory pistol (PHP very,very shitty war time product) and second one that won the world...chances are good!

I looked at EVERYTHING, and finally purchased an XDM9mm in October and I am TOTALLY satisfied both with the weapon and the company. Incredible accuracy, ergonomics and simplicity. Cleaning the gun is a snap..... Well done SA!!

To bad gun manufactures dont go around to different ranges so we can test fire the pistols before plunking down $500++ bucks for a gun. But if you do I live in Nashville Tn area let me know when your bringing a XDM to a range near me.
