  • Wow, loved the playing... time to quit the guitar for me ;-) One question: Which of all your Lollar sets have you found is the most versatile? (I play Jazz, 70s funk & a wee bit of country). Need new pickups for my tele. Cheers!

  • @mrwitzigwitzig I like the 52 set the best (the set on this vid) it seems the most musical to my ears. all Lollar stuff is great but i keep this set in my working tele.

  • how do you make it sound so beefy? :DD

  • I just put a big piece of steak on top of the amp. : )

  • Hi Tim. Hello from the east coast. I know thee videos are largely equipment demos, but I think many of us would agrre that your playing on them is just really great. Tasteful. I've been transcribing some of the stuff. Any plans for an album? Are there any released Im not aware of? I would love to have some of this on my iPod to take with me.

  • thanks Jamie, I'm working on it, I hope to have something new out soon. Thanks for the encouragement.

  • It's all in the fingers! Mr. Lerch is a fine guitarist.

Nice bluesy groove--tone to die for.

Love the Jazzy Barney Kessel-ish middle 8!

I am getting out my "52 RI right now!

  • @telebasher Yup, I'm in love with the 52 in the bridge but am thinking that the neck pickup needs to be a little 'deeper'... maybe a Special T or a CC?

  • @lastkiz13

it's in the fingers man, also try a heavy gauge of string if you want a lil more...beef as you put it

but most tone will come from your fingers, if i or you played this setup, it'll sound completely different. phrasing comes into play too

  • Hi Tim,

I'm blown over by the thick soud of the neck 52! If you'd used the neck Special T, could you give me an idea of what kind of sound difference that would have made? (I'm deciding between the two in the neck of my tele. Going for a Lollar mini-hum in bridge). Thanks and great playing!

  • Would love to hear a demo of the pedal into a mark series boogie amp. I have a mark 5 combo and its a simply amazing amp. Have been on the waiting list for ever for one of these pedals and my name is coming up to receive mine in about 4 weeks time, joy. HAve you ever played it through a mesa amp. The mark one is close as pie to a dumple amp, im sure i will be in bliss. Any suggestions. HEy, using a compressor after this pedal, maybe keeley, sound spectacular??, or not needed in your opinion?

  • This just might be my #1 favorite vid on youtube. Any chance that CD will be out by Christmas? Thanks for sharing.

  • As a guitar player myself ( and tele at that ) ...I love hearing someone

who has the chops to be FREEEEEE !!!! Makes me laugh it's so good...Yea.
