Splunk at a large Federal Agency

S Terry Brugger, PhD, is Security Operations Center Implementation Lead for a large Federal Agency and project lead for Eyak Technology LLC. In this video, Terry discusses the agency's decision-making process that led them to select Splunk in addition to a traditional Security Event Management System (SIEM) as part of a more complete vision for IT security across the agency. Terry goes on to discuss the agency's deployment of Splunk, why SIEM alone was not enough, as well as current and future use cases for Splunk providing operational intelligence for the agency's enterprise architecture in locations throughout the United States.
