Program Director, Bill Reinhardt's popular psychedelic radio show (1971-1985) KBOO-FM Portland, Oregon. Music, comedy, poetry, plays, abstract sounds and audio weirdness held a loyal audience of 'Hippies' close to their radios every Saturday night. (The 'Radio Lab' became 'Cryptic Propensity Projections' and 'Midnight Collage' over the years). These radio shows were a welcomed alternative to the 'Top 40' and "MOR' media wasteland of corporate broadcasting. This kind of radio is more relevant today in an equally vapid climate of 'formula' and automated programming. (Fear not, the world is still safe for media mediocrity and banality). "Mudd Play" program # 1 is a strange dialog about dominance and submission that was a frequent airplay on the Radio Lab.
For the topographical history junkies out there, this program was broadcast from 3129 S.E. Belmont St. Portland, Oregon (map notation). The original building is still there and looks pretty much the same. The 'Portland Scribe' newspaper was right across the street (1971-76).

There is recent evidence from the Rez underground that this was actually produced by The Residents for Bill's show and Homer is the 'Mudd' character!
