There were probably some who knew Jesus, and were first hand witnesses
to the resurrection. When later they were put to the test, either die or say it was
a lie/they did deny Him, to escape death. You will not see any writings about them,
or who their names were. They were deleted from the history books.

"just some guy"? They saw Him rise from the dead and ascend into Heaven. If someone like that told me that I too would rise again, I'd be willing to die also. You might not be, but I would call that looney.

Oh... that was supposed to end with a question mark.... I forgot....

So... Islam is true because right now... in this point in history... there are many more radical Islamists that are so certain about their creed, that they kill themselves in the name of their god.

Hi thekingdomcomedotcom.
I think the bible is, to a large degree, fictional on the same basis the validity of ANY historical document is determined. is there corroborating evidence? Is that evidence biased? etc.
The theory of evolution is supported by so much evidence that it's validity is extremely probable.
I think that's how we resolve it. Just like we resolve most other things in reality :)
Crazy people die for their beliefs every day, sane ones dont. I think thats a much more telling point. If you where to point a gun at me and ask me to proclaim the moon was made of cheese I would do it rather then die for what I belive in. If I was a looney who heard voices maybe I would go ahead and die cause the invisible man in the head said I would live again.

Well, if you'd watched the video AND listened to what was being said, your analogy is opposite of what was going on. Jesus' hand-picked followers were the ones being threatened with death and actually being killed but instead of denying that Christ is God, they affirmed it even onto their murders. They weren't doubters ready to cast off truth just because some pressured them. Jesus wasn't "invisible". He had been with them for over 3 years.

But... is'nt the story of jesus mostly (if not totally) fictional?

on what basis would you think it is "fictional"? I could ask, isn't the story of cavemen evolving from apes mostly (if not totally) fictional? -- How do we resolve it?
