@idope why not just use 2 irons? A chip like that in the video can be taken off very easily with just one iron, fast & accurate hand.

instead of using soldering, u can use flat iron..

for example, If I wanna remove a damaged chip and replace it with good one from other board .... or..save it for future use ...
