I think it's more of a cultural thing than political.

My parents and grandparents are Han Chinese born in Taiwan and they, for example, prefer to write in traditional Chinese.

I'm both Chinese and Taiwanese. Most people in the Northern part of Taiwan think like me. It's actually only a small portion of the population that don't admit they're Chinese for political reasons.

The minority of people who don't want to be Chinese are called Taiwanese independencers. They're actually a minority. Most people want to keep the status quo. Not quite independent, but not under the control of China either.

Anyway, all politics. Just ignore it and enjoy the videos.
