@Gmod1001 On a documentary they said it was a collection of song that were intended to be "Singles" but instead they took them all and made them into an album on it's own, which was considered an experimental album.

actually they say: They make the music they want to make and not what others want to hear, if the fans don't like it they will say ok, but they will never let themself get forced to something. They do what they want and not what the audiences want. It's their music. But you have a good point. Enjoy it or stop listening.

Ok, people need to understand one thing...
Thousand Suns, was an EXPERIMENTAL album.
The sound does NOT reflect what Linkin Park has become, because it is NOT "What they have become". They are still the same Linkin Park, but they tried something new. They didnt change genres, they never where a specific GENRE... They where pushed into genres like nu-metal and alternative rock, but they never tied themselves down to a specific genre.
SO STOP YOUR WHINING, AND ENJOY THE MUSIC.
