a way to put deer sinew cordage together and make a bow string . You can use yucca leave the fiber of the leave's as cordage, Wilderness Survival

  • Sinew is great stuff. Elastic modulus of about 400,000 pounds per square inch and can be stretched about 5%.

  • Thanks for the tip, Tim. I had heard that American Indians used deer sinew to make their bow strings, as well. Having processed a few deer over the years, I can see where sinew would have been a good choice in the earlier days of this land. Great video!
