description :
just playing around with my rotor jig. my digicam tripod as stand, gws motor mount n piece of plywood form the rotor head. test blade - depron 6mm, 2"x15" - about 30" of rotor diameter. blade mount to rotor head using self jig with hotglue. estimated -8deg incidence n mast aft tilt 20deg. no hinges, no screws.
will be using this jig for future rotor test n learning purpose.
can see some oscilation. may cause by unbalance/defect blade or unbalance rotor. but i think theres more than just unbalance.
i can monitor the assymetric lift effect on the rotor with my test jig. n learned something from it.
if the interest grows, might build my first autogyro one day. but i might take this one slowly as it is to new for me. get to know it first. n only then i know :).
