@goobber08 i believe that they are the same eel some just call them snowflake morey eel and morey ell and their color variation from like to dark depends on the color of the rock.

sick vid man. ive never seen my eel eat before but ive woken up with my big goldfish, siemess fighting fish, cleaner fish, and two others missing. my eels awesome.

Do you have any crustaceans in the tank that might be picking them out of the shell? I assume you don't have a loach if you're not blaming it on it. When snails die they become dislocated from their shell and can easily get sucked out... maybe they're just dying.
are these snowflake eels?

probably because of the quality of the video. I'm waiting patiently to obtain more of these eels and then I'll post some better quality vids.
