Aoki Takamasa @ HAUNTED DANCEHALL Club Mago

Funky glitchy techy groovey Aoki Takamasa performing song Mirabeau @Club Mago Friday the 10th of November 2006 as part of his Japan tour. Originally from Kyoto he is now living in France but performing mainly in Europe. Despite not fitting into the usual moulds of Japanese artists succesful overseas i.e extreme avante garde or bubble gum pop, he has been gradually gaining wider recognition among western audiences - as a producer rather than a Japanese otaku cliche. He has done some solid collaborations in the past with names such as Tujiko Noriko, Takagi Masakatsu and Ryuichi Sakamoto.
