Interesting, your comment serves as Exhibit A illustrating vid's point about "common interpretation"-vs-"God's interpretation." As vid says @ 4:46, "unless you're saying what God says the interpretation is, you're just making stuff up." You say,"The whole point of the 70 wk prophecy was for the Jews to repent...," but God Himself specifies the point...actually 6 points, itemized in list in Dan 9:24 (& some are still future, & there's been no such covenant in history confirmed for 7 years).

The whole point of the 70 wk prophecy was for the Jews to repent, they were freed from Babylonian rule, given time to rebuild the temple and a period of grace prior to Jesus coming, they had been in Babylon because God had punished them, this was their chance to rectify matters but they didn't, why do you think the Rabbi's put a curse on the Book of Daniel? Because it shows Jesus was the Messiah and they didn't want the people to know!! And you tell me i use replacement theology???

Ok my friend feel free to email me, but tell me how you can take the last week of a 70 week prophecy, detatch it and throw it into the future? The 70th week is just that, it's the week that comes after 69. Jesus ministry was for 3 1/2 years, that is half of seven, when he was crucified the temple was left desolate, after the next 3 1/2 years steven was stoned, the Gospel went to the Gentiles as the Jews were cut off, that is the 70 wk prophecy. You are calling Jesus the Antichrist??
