@zeppedled It's far from "wrecked" it's just a simple pickup swap to get a different tone. It can always be changed back.

@PinkyWontWork "tone can be achieved with or without quality" Yeah, it's called either good tone or bad tone. Tone is defined as: The quality of the sound. Maybe you have your own definition. Do me a favor, go to a recording studio and watch what the pros do to achieve good tone. There's a reason why pros use quality gear and spend hours tweaking it all. Yes, even Joe Satriani.

i hope you know that you just lowered the value of the your les paul significantly...... about half you retards will say oh they can be swaped..... but i as a collector would not go near this... we like all orginal... i dont care if you still have the pick ups and change them back..... people these days......smh

That is the single handed juiciest guitar I've EVER seen... favourited. PERIOD. This is the EXACT guitar (even from the pick guard removed) I've been wanting for ages - an you have it! Do some awesome covers!

are u ppl stupid i own several guitar and i put active pickups in each of them and everytime i can tell a huge difference if you that tone def the dont even bother picking up a guitar again. goo choice in guitar man i like the customs
i have a question......where did u instlal the battery compartment. did u just stuff it in the electronics cavity or did you have to cut out a place for it. IM thinking of installing the 81/85 or 60 but im a bit nervous cuz i dont wanna cut out a hole for the battery. PLease respond thanks!

I just stuffed the battery in the electronics cavity :)
But in some cases you do have to cut out a place for the battery, I think it depends on the guitar.. Just ask the guy that will do the job!
