How to let teachers- or one group of people- view a block on Moodle's front page while preventing students - or a different group of people- from seeing the same block.

This is a great little trick. It's a shame that this doesn't seem to let you use the system-wide roles such that you have to re-enrol everyone to use these functionalities.
