He escaped from Eritrea during the Ethio-Eritrea war...in an interview with a tigrigna magazine in Mekelle, he stated that he was born in Nazret (adama) and attended high school in Asmara ( and i believe his dad is eritrean) he mentioned his mother is from Ethiopia. He now lives in Addis where he writes and producers music for Tigrigna singers!!
