@Michigan1985 A concussion can because by the slightest hits. when there is a hit to the head, its often shakes the brain bad or hits the jaw. obviously when the brain gets shaken it isnt good but the jaw thing; players wear mouth guards to reduce the shock going to the brain caused by say like an uppercut or something. the new helmets don't really cut down on the amount of concussions. but like i said, and as it shows, a little hit can really mess up the head

I'm confused...how did these hits give him concussions? The first one looks like it might hurt a little, but a concussion? The second one looked like his helmet tapped the glass. I obviously don't know what I'm talking about so maybe someone can fill me in.

I got to admit that the first concussion was very weak, but the second looked like his head impacted the glass. But I still can't see how he missed a season, and a half off that 1 boarding call.

both of these hits were concussions, and chances are crosby is done. shame to see a great player end so early, but he should not have come back so soon after his first concussion.

i think in light of what we know now, that he actually has a neck injury, it makes alot more sense to me.. the hit from steckl most-likely did result in the neck injury, and after that game crosby said his neck was sore, not his head, i think the whole problem is it could just be a misdiagnoses; concussion symptoms and the neck injury symptoms he has are very similar, but rehab for them is different, if they knew it was a neck injury last year he might have been back already and healthy as ever
