  • All the tracks you hear are originaly from the cd JUST LIKE THIS. The HARD LIFE cd is a compilation disk. The JUST LIKE THIS cd has a lot more on it plus a great booklet. Its also out of print BUT realy worth having!

  • did they ever make a record, or any recordings?

  • Yes- Just Like This & 1/2 of Showtime. The Music you hear on this video is from Just Like This

  • but a that time wans't he playing with iah hunter band and bob dylan?

  • This was when Mick came home from the Dylan gig had a new manager decided to try something different. Mick did heavy turing with Ian solo projects later.

  • This is great on so many levels. Captures TM in Bearsville studio B in the transition from MM-1000 to MM-1200. At the 1:58 point you can see the original Quad-8 desk with the API EQs; before it was seriously reworked. ... I miss Mick!

  • Poor Mick ,he looked like he was on a constant come down from his amazing days with Bowie. It looked for a short while he was going somewhere with his two solo albums, but he was the perennial side man.

  • Are the tracks from the 'Hard Life' album?

I got the last copy available new.

    It's Out of Print

  • Nice slide show. God this was so long ago. We all still miss Mick.

  • Great stuff!! Surprised to see guitarist Shane Fontayne with Rono's outfit. She toured with Springsteen's ''other band'' in the 90's.

    And i'm always missin' Mick...

  • There was a woman bass player that Ronno used to Jam with at Matrix studios, in about '75. She had long, curly/kinky hair and dressed very hippy, with jeans, Frye boots, etc. Does anyone know who she might have been?

  • Big Ronno fan... it's a shame these recordings didn't see the light of day until so many years after they were recorded. "Just Like This" strikes me as some of Micks best work... this band really brought out the emotion and edge to his ideas -great rock & roll. Thank you for sharing your ultra-rare photos.
