you have completely disproven my thought that atheists are people who choose dis-belief in a higher power because they are uneducated. in fact, in your case i think quite the opposite. you know too much to have faith, because like leslie said, faith is belief in something that cannot be proven. you seem to come from a world of very scientific approach to life, like anything factual is what there is, but lacking a certain je ne sais quois in spirituality. i hope that you do feel hope & peace

I'm sorry you seem to have had such a bad experience with Christianity while growing up.

I appreciate you being able to share your opinion without bashing another religion. I can really respect that.

You also bring up an excellent point about Christianity or anything: Some people don't question and don't research... and just agree. The whole "I'm just going to follow..." thing never settled well with me.

Hey we all chose to live differently. I'm Christian I love it. I feel more strength to be myself as a transman. Its great to know that no matter if I am disowned, hated and killed I'll always have someone greater.
