1. Bring the knees up towards the chest until they form a 90 degree angle with both the hips and the lower leg.
2. With the back in a neutral position, continue to pull the legs up, contracting the abdominal muscles until the thighs are parallel to the floor.
3. Slowly allow the legs to return to their starting position while maintaining tension on the abdominal muscles.
