In 1948 Royal Enfield made the worlds first full suspension trials bike. The bikes (a batch of just 10) were made with rear swinging arm suspension, alloy rear brake and trials gearbox to use in the International Six Days Trial where they were awarded the Gold Star. This bike is the only known survivor of the 'works 10'. I guess she really belongs in a museum but she is fun to ride and smells of Castrol R.

Glorious machine, enjoyable video and I enjoyed your write-up on the REOC web pages. Thanks for posting.

@jemglen Thanks very much, the video was a spur of the moment thing (or else I'd have tidied the garage) and the Enfield is a lot of fun. The REOC page was a bit of a shock when it came online as I hadn't realised it'd be so prominent. Happy riding Jim
