(Clip) Disadvantaged youth have a place to learn and grow thanks to Irv Polk who has operated the program and ministry for 46 years. Recently he has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, but continues to be involved with the kids. In this video Irv shares some of the wisdom and life lessons he has learned over the years during his involvement with Lifeline in Elkhart, Indiana. UPDATE: Irv went to Heaven just a month after this interview was completed.
Irv was a great man, His wife was the most warm kind school teacher I ever had.

Irv, you were my biggest influence! I miss you more and more each and every day. You made me believe. You were with me thru all of my struggles. You helped me through my problems with my dad. You have been in my life since before i was born and noone except God can ever repay you for the dedication and effort you put into each and every person you worked with. ILY

I am thankful to God for you Irv. Thank you for showing me the love of Christ through your life. The Seed that you helped plant has grown in my family and when I see you again, we will worship together and I will introduce you to my girls whose life with Jesus is a result of your work as well. God bless you and I will see you soon.
