I also had that same experience at the Fiesta of the Spanish Horse a few years back. He was wonderful! I rode him bareback all around the showgrounds, I had such a huge smile during that whole ride LOL.

Axis is an amazing horse. He is one of the first Andalusian Stallions that I got introduced to 11 years ago. Withen 5 minutes of meeting him I was lucky enough to hop on him and ride him bareback all around a busy boarding facility were a lot of other people were riding. He was a perfect gentleman. He truly has an amazing temperament. I was hooked after that ride.

Axis is truly a great horse-just wonderful! He sired my beloved Falcon, who has passed on. Axis passed on all of his best qualities, and I'll be forever grateful to have been able to own one of his sons.

He moves like an andalusian but he doesn't look like an andalusian, his neck is thinner then a thoroughbreds. If he was a grey horse, i don't think he would be that famous.

Actually, the beginning of the video shows him when he was very young. Only the last part shows Axis in his full maturity. He has a nice long neck. Many Andalusians tend to have necks that are too short and overdeveloped.
