Not really impressive because I fludded the the engine so it took a bit to start back up. Yes I know the tail lights dim everytime the engine turns over...and for those of you that think I have a weak battery its called a 6 volt electrical system. So that means a generator instead of alternator, and it actually is working perfectly fine.

  • That's awesome. I'm guessing you're having to keep the idle set that high to have it keep charging because of the old generator. Sounds great.

  • oh...i know the fun of the 6 volt system and if the get week enough it can't get a jump from just anyone . in that a positive ground system ? mine is . good luck with what ever you want to turn to car in to . runs strong ! the starting system sounds just about right to me.

  • lmfao...what a champ. starts right back up. i love old cars like that, nice work!

  • Thats nice!! I have a 1956 International with a straight 6 engine. Right now it has a 5" stack, and I am debating whether to dump the stack and split my exhaust or stick with the stack. I don't know what to do!!!!
