This is my Junior Recital, which took place on April 18th, 2009 at the University of Oregon School of Music.

There are nine parts. Parts I, II & III encompass all six movements of the Bach, parts IV, V & VI are the three movements of the Horovitz, part VII is the Wagner, and parts VIII & IX are the first and second half of the Jacob.

My recital program is as follows:

  • I know what you mean. I worked on that distinction a little, but perhaps I'll communicate it better next time.

  • I enjoyed this interpretation quite a bit. The one gripe (about a lot peoples' versions) is that they tend to play the four set of notes in the two bars before "reheasal F" the same, and not make a noticeable distinction between the 16th-8th and the grace-8th rhythms.

    I'm gonna listen to part II now.
