ehh i see where you come from at a certain point, but man it aint just black people ok? theres lots of white, hispanic, and asian gang memebers and i didnt say fix completely even suburbs have shootings and drugs but the streets are slaughter and you know the govt. is looking away from it, cops dont even want to get involved with a murder if they think its gang related even though its in the description to protect people the police dont wanna fight the odds because for once there outnumbered

They do help people out, it's called welfare. Lots of people in the hood don't care enough to work hard at their jobs because they can get a check at the end of the week just for having kids.
The ghetto is a fucked up place, I can't think of a way the gvt could fix every ghetto unless they set up a complete dictatorship and moved in with the military. even that probably wouldn't fix everything, think about Iraq.
It's going to be a tough journey, but the change has to start with black people.

tremone21,Originally gangs were there for protection against others, its a unity thing, the area you grew up in depends what set your from and its not like they push negative shit most members actually wanna see the youth do somethin better with their life than kill people, if shit wasnt so hot in the city then there wouldnt be a need for a gang but if it wasnt fucked up since the day they were born then i doubt thered even be a ghetto if the govt would get off their asses and help ppl out.
