This could also be a zombie outbreak sort of theme too. From 0:00 to 0:09 the guys just driving then from 0:10 to like 0:19 he starts to realize it's so damn empty and quiet on the road. And last from 0:20 to 0:30 he decides to figure out whats's going on.
