Babak and Friends A First Norooz Trailer

This classic holiday special celebrates the Persian New Year or "Norooz", marking Spring Equinox on the Persian calendar. Babak & Friends - A First Norooz is a 33 minute cartoon about little Babak growing up outside of Iran. When his cousins Saman and Sousanne come to visit, Babak feels left out because he doesn't know much about the Persian traditions of the Haft Seen and Chaharshanbeh Soori. At school, too, he is left out as his friends celerbate other holidays. Through a magical journey to Persepolis and with the help of Amoo Norooz and Haji Firooz, he is able to learn about his heritage and be proud of being from both places!
With the talented voices of Oscar-nominee Shohreh Aghdashloo, Ali Pourtash (Haji Firooz), Catherine Bell (As Babak's Mom) and the legendary Parviz Sayyad as Amoo Norooz himself. Original music by Aris and special Song by Andy. DVD includes Andy's music video.
