NAHL - League of the Unreal

Begun by first league president Harold F. Japhine on December 4th, 1933, the IMHL (Intercontinental Men's Hockey League) became a North American ice hockey tradition. By 1958, the league was renamed the NAHL. The Animiter Animals were the loop's first perennial champs and Animiter's Tommy Hoe the first NAHL superstar.

The league expanded in 1960 to include franchises in Dinosaurland, N.B. and Menon, Ontario. Dinosaurland drafted a talented Animiter prospect named Bill Brontosaurus and ended their first season undefeated. Brontosaurus won the scoring championship in his rookie year and never lost a game! He never played a game in which he didn't score a goal and no matter what club he played for (formerly of Animiter : 2 games; Dinosaurland: 35 seasons: Jungletown: 2 games), was never on the ice for a goal against! He holds the record for goals in one game: 111 (in a 1971 Dinosaur victory of 111-0 over Animiter).

To the shock of the entire sports world, the NAHL ceased play for the 1993-94 term, but returned to start the new millennium in the 1999-2000 hockey season. Bill Brontosaurus rejoined Dinosaurland and played that entire season, winning the scoring championship one final time at age 58. He retired at the end of 99/00, after winning the Japhine Cup for the 36th time in his storied career.

OK....the whole thing is made up. I created it all in my mind as a kid and I actually played hockey with toy plastic animals and dinosaurs until I became an adult. At least I created some 'unreal' pics and logos from it all. Thank you!
