It's basically a B Lydian.

You need to take a look at what you are doing... You are leaving notes out at the third section of the solo and out of key at the very last part.... It's a good job but needs improvement... Check my video under butcheryben...

oh ok. that makes sense. thanks for the info. now that i'm thinking about it, I'd agree. Amott's solos are entirely phrased differently.

Bill plays with alot of emotion, he uses alot of vibrato, you can usually tell its bill by his style of shredding, i cant think any solo's that bill plays where he uses a wah pedal or any effects.

Amott uses a wah pedal alot, he plays with alot of emotion as well, but he tends bend notes alot more than bill, and amotts solo's are alot easier to play imo.
