Traxxas X0-1 100 MPH No Unlock No Ipod-Enjoy

We just thought it would be an interesting thing to show you. The video above shows the brand new traxxas x-01 capable of reaching 100MPh while still locked and thus no ipod needed. The ipod is only being used to show you speed.

I see one major flaw with this..... The car is upside down, not carrying its own weight, no wind resistance... Thus making this a fail. Mount a GPS to your locked XO-1. What is its actual speed. Bet it will be closer to 50mph.

Just change the bloody radio or get a buddy with an iPhone, just about every other person has one. I hate pistol grip so I'd change the radio anyway.

Just a thought for us iPad owners...you should be able to use a docking extension cord and use your iPad.
