The trailer is taken from the UK VHS Release of "Spider-Man: The Dragon's Challenge" Also Known as "The Chinese Web" (Witch is the original US Title)

The series has not yet been released on DVD only on VHS in the early 1980s.

Both the original television pilot and this 2-part follow-up were released as feature films outside of the United States. Originally they were part of a CBS network television series that ran from 1977 - 1979.

I realize this was made in 1977 and the special effects were nothing like they are today but I have to give them credit for trying. At least they had REAL stunt men climbing up REAL buildings and REALLY swinging from cables. Sometimes the animation they use today is just too much.

If I could change one thing about this series I would use an actor who actually has some athleticism. I mean the fighting scenes are bad. It's obvious he had no martial arts training at all. Anyway is intertaining.

There is some truth to what you're saying. There were plans for several Spiderman movies in the early 90's but they were scrapped. One was going to be with the characters of the Incredible Hulk ( Lou Ferrigno ), however the actor who play David Banner (Bill Bixby) died of cancer in 1993.

Man I whish there will be a Frist Spider-man movie in the late 70's but it will shown on the big screen in the year after Superman came out in the Box office so Roger Corman should Spiderman movie in the late 70s in 1979 from new world Pictures!
