  • I must admit that I dont understand why U decided to play such a huge rubatos in this piece. There are moments wchich are brilliant and I like them but... the rubato destroy form in my opinion.

  • Maybe a little bit too much rubato?

  • I think the rhapsodies are to be played with a lot of passion, and there is a lot of room for interpretation. At the same time, you can't take too much liberty with this piece, or it ends up sounding too forced, like you're trying too hard to make it sound passionate or emotional.

  • After 2 bottles of vine Brahms would play this cross.. slower and more powerful ..

  • sounds very similar to pogorelich's interpretation.

  • not ivo. similar interpretation but totally different technical apparatus.

  • Isn't this Ivo?

  • Mr. Choice!

  • I think he is trying to copy pogorelich's version of this piece

  • Agreed! Finally, a comrade in rubato.

  • totally agree

    it's exceedingly romantic

  • Bravo. Pulls even more out of the piano than Brahams himself. Masculine.
