Here's RP singing the Gershwin standard "I Got Rhythm" - and he sure does! This rendition evokes images of Mardi Gras festivals. The track is from a truly glorious CD called "The Glory of Gershwin". It features artists from various musical backgrounds interpreting famous Gershwin songs as a tribute to Larry Adler, the great harmonica player (who can be heard on this song). My favorite track besides RP's is Cher singing "It Ain't Necessarily So". The album was produced by George Martin (who produced the Beatles). Lyrics below (for this version of the song).

I got rhythm
I got music
I got my gal
Who could ask for anything more?

I got starlight
I got sweet dreams
I got my gal
Who could ask for anything more?

Old man trouble
I dont mind him
You wont find him
Round my door

I got music
I got rhythm
i got my gal
Who could ask for anything more?

I got rhythm
I got music
I got my gal
Who could ask for anything more?

Days can be sunny with never a sigh
Dont need what money can buy
Birds in the trees sing their dayful of song
Why shouldnt we sing along?

Im chipper all the day happy, with my lot
How do i get that way? look at what i got

I got rhythm
I got music
I got my gal
Who could ask for anything more?

I got daisies
In green pastures
I got my gal
Who could ask for anything more?

Old man trouble
I dont mind him
You wont find him
Round my door

I got music
I got rhythm
I got my gal
Who could ask for anything more?

I got rhythm
I got music
I got rhythm
I got music
I got rhythm
I got music
I got rhythm

I got rhythm
I got music
I got my gal
Who could ask for anything more?

I got starlight
I got sweet dreams
I got my gal
Who could ask for anything more?

  • @akifer98 The photos that I used for the posts don't necessarily have anything to do with the songs (regarding content, time they were made, album etc). There are many photos of Robert giving this sign. He seemed to like it, and I assume that to him it just meant "a-ok", as it usually does.

  • The song is really EXTRA. but why is he holding the tripple 6 sign? :S

  • Pure....that's what it is.

  • class.............

  • OOOOOOOOH! He sings this song so sexy!

  • Really nice :-)
