Calvinism is the Truth. It's that simple.

This video is an excerpt from Robert C. Harbach's article "Calvinism...The Truth."

Robert C. Harbach is a Dutch Calvinist. You can read his entire article at the following link:

The truth is that God determines whatsoever comes to pass (both good and bad). Arminians and nominal Calvinists (like R.C. Sproul) claim that God sits back and permits sin, but doesn't cause His creatures to sin. This modified deism is not Biblical. As John Calvin pointed out so long ago, God is always active, never passive. John Calvin, commenting on Isaiah 14:26, writes:

"We ought to contrast the two things which Isaiah recommends to our notice, namely, the purpose and the power of God. We ought to believe, first, that God is true, for He declares nothing that is not fixed and unchangeable; and, secondly, that He is powerful, and that nothing can withstand His arm...for His hand ought never to be separated from His mouth. We must not imagine His power to be, as philosophers talk, a power that is unemployed, but, as the Scriptures teach us, powerful and active."
(Calvin's Commentaries, Volume 7, page 460)

Gordon H. Clark was correct when he stated that the idea of "permission" makes absolutely no sense when applied to the Lord God Almighty. Gordon H. Clark writes:

"The idea of permission is possible only where there is an independent force...But this is not the situation in the case of God and the universe. Nothing in the universe can be independent of the Omnipotent Creator, for in Him we live and move and have our being. Therefore the idea of permission makes no sense when applied to God."
(Religion, Reason, And Revelation, Chapter 5, page 205)
