Breathless ... 25

Whoa, I haven't updated this story in a whole month.
Forgive me? Anyways, this is a short chapter, it's mainly a filler, so yeah.

Selena and Nick didn't do anything that went too far. They just simply cuddled and fell asleep. Their minds were flowing with different thoughts, different dreams, and letting go of the negative feelings. They both knew they had each other and that's the only thing they both actually need.



Nick's life has changed ever since he first saw her out in the cold and soaking wet from the rain and brought her back home. Even though he gets into some trouble, it's worth it because if he still has her, nothing else would matter. All that matters is Selena and keeping her safe.



If something did happen to her, then he would fight his hardest to get her back and that's how much he cares for her. His life is all for her now. Selena is what makes him, him. It may sound cheesy, but it's true. He lives and breathes for her. If she's gone, he slowly crumbles down which may explain why he can get a little too overprotected.



If only she knew how much he cared, but he's too afraid that he'll be rejected by her. Nick has said those 3 powerful words, but it was too soon, as so he thought.



He doesn't want to scare her off. He tries to slowly tell her how he really feels about her. He takes their relationship step by step.



They aren't together officially. Nick does want to ask her, but he's afraid of what she'll say. She might say yes or might say no. He doesn't want their current relationship to fall apart if he does asks her because if she does say 'yes', then it'll all go well, but they might get into a fight and maybe even breakup, which he doesn't want that to happen. If she says 'no', then if he's near her, he will feel awkward being around her so either way, it's a iffy thought.



So for now, they're just friends, but they both know the strong feelings they have for each other. They just haven't fully committed into being in a relationship with each other.



Trust me, he does wants to be with her, he just doesn't know if it's the right time to ask her this kind of things.


Tell me this. Wouldn't you be a little bit scared if you asked someone that you really liked and cared for? I definitely would.


And suddenly, there was a knock on the front door.


Curious what will happen next? I am too.
