Matheson Hammock Park, Miami, FL - Damien LeRoy and Kent Marinkovic on Aguera Boards & Cabrinha Crossbow kites doing some last minute testing (in 7 to 10 mph winds) just before the 2010 Kiteboarding Course Racing World Championship in Corpus Christi, Texas.
UPDATE: 11/09/2010 - The future equipment for kiteboard racing was decided last weekend on the IKA class AGM. From 2011 on, racing will take place in an open division and in a production division, which is strictly box-rule controlled and limited to 1 board & 3 kites that each competitor can register per event - http://bit.ly/IKAGear
It would have been nice, and informative, if you had a GPS with you, and check av. speed, max speed and most important see the angles up and downwind.
Make 2 legs upwind and measure the angle. It that kind of wind it can't be big.
How are those boards?
