@earthwormjah You misunderstood. Christians like to take sides on the topic of knowledge of salvation, but "predestination" and "freewill" are two sides of the same coin. I was just replying to your comment optimistically, because ever though you don't put trust in God now, maybe you're on a journey that will ultimately lead to Him. The path to wisdom is very rarely a straight line.

nice girl at least...im glad you are trying to positively represent the views that you hold dear...I think it is a good thing for christians to continue to strive to do...to be more "christ like"....

Im glad there are christians arguing with other christians about full immersion vs. sprinkles vs. nothing and going to hell....so here we have christians arguing with other christians using logic and reason at some level...use of logic and reason will eventually lead away from religious dogma

I can tell you're trying to express your faith in a way that isn't offensive, and although I'm not a Christian, I'm always happy when people try to do good in their own way.

My advice is to stop apologizing for other Christians and focus on yourself and your faith and doing good in the world. The simple fact is that sometimes, people say "I'll pray for you" for reasons that aren't good at heart. I believe that YOU have good intentions, not everyone that calls themselves Christian does. :/

Here's the thing for us not religious, christian et al, we don't relate to this at all. It makes no sense. But now I figure it's all condescending and with pre-existing notion to either convert me or basically kill me. Praying for me first of course.
