  • which macbook do you have? screen size?

  • @rep1989 I have a Macbook Pro 15".

  • Well, the Apple story, they have tested schools with computers in the classrooms and even iPhones, and in spite of fears, the students did more work and seemed to learn more. Now, for the other textbooks, aren't most of those already available in eBook format? I honestly thought they were. If not, it's a good idea too.

    You nailed SOPA and PIPA.

  • @KittenKoder I felt they were great advancements for the world of textbooks myself. I think Apple is just going to find it a little difficult to find schools that are having educational problems that will also be able to afford iPads for every student. But as prices go down that will change. Also, I really made this video to sort of help finalize my public thoughts on SOPA and PIPA. I usually don't talk politics but for this I had to make an acception.

  • Great Video!!!! Thumbs up from Little Vader!!!!!

  • cooooool channel from reckyz

  • @TGameNTech Even if they did pass it, pirates would figure a way around it and still do the things they do. There is always someone out there who is smarter than you are.

  • I agree, Apple should have focused their attention on college students. College students are much more likely to have an iPad and would definitely rather pay a smaller price for an iBook than a hardcover book. (I would know..I'm a senior in my last semester and I just got done paying $150 for 3 books...ridiculous).

As for SOPA and PIPA...I don't see them coming around again any time soon. They got a huge pushback from the internet community and the bills are just plain ridiculous.

  • cool video i just sub you.

  • @dragonriderpictures Granted, but then, the public school administration is overpaid, but that's another topic. However, and MS did this a few times as well, they will likely be donated the iPads. Schools spend millions to update textbooks each year, cut those millions to a few thousand, in the long run it would be worth it.
