"Mycelium running : how mushrooms can help save the world," by Paul Stamets, reviewed. Find this book in your library! http://www.worldcat.org/oclc/60603170
If you're in the middle of growing something, I'd suggest Stamets' earlier book "Growing Gourmet and Medicinal Mushrooms," which is more focused on growing. Mycelium Running is awesome, of course, but it has a lot of other information and theory in it, too.
Thanks for this - I think I need this book. I'm on my first foray into oyster mushrooms - put some spawn into warm coffee grounds, and now the top is covered with mycelium. What do I do next? How do I get back to the seedy spawn that I started with, to grow the next batch? I'd appreciate any thoughts you can share.
