Iam very haooy for Lao people. My great grandmother used to lived in LAOS and have told us the sibling about the history of LAO. We are now became Thai by forced. Is very sad that we have lost our LAO ROOT TO SIAMESE. I NOW LIVED IN UDONTHANEE but i can go visit LAO as visitors.

I don't think lao gov is stupid enough to allow other country to invest in LAO without benefit from it. At least they should have somekind of contract signing and Lao would get some portion. "go back to school again".

No single country can take the land of other country anymore. There is a world map regulated under the International Law. Not the same as the past history, LAO Land was taken by Thai people "SIAMESE". There's no more war fighting for land any more. There are thousands of investors from all over the world bougth land in US and pay taxes to US gov. When they go back to their country, they would not be able to take the land and carry it on to the airplane with them. Duh !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
