As someone who founded/runs an enviro-focussed snowboarding company, this is a rad movie. The beats through the last sequence of the Tent/Shred City part were rad. The whole move is totally incredible. So they didn't get into the mountains for weeks. It's more the idea and effort and the thought behind it. Non constructive criticism is lame. Good on you JJ etc for throwing this down. PS those JJ/Tahoe lines were gnarly.
Peace,
tim

this is rad.Iv'e been hiking and snow camping since I started riding.Thats what its all about. To see a video produced from that is amazing. Of course you wont get to the craziest spots or snow...because you have to HIKE there...Try it and see what you come up with "MountainsForLife"

I think the second song is Bjork- hyper ballad. I searched these lyrics and that's what I get....give it a try.
About the negative critics....at least you could have known what this film was about. The trailer is quite honest so what did you expect. All these backtoback hammer videos that we are used to....sure there great but I think it would be fun to see something different. I can do 900whatever myself too, but sitting in my chair at home....I would love to see the things I cannt do myself

Okay, so maybe you dont like kickers in the BC. Maybe you dont like legends like Jeremy Jones, Tom Burt and Dave Downing paired with the younger generation in their snowboard flare all doing something to help the environment. Thats cool. Oh, by the way, whens the last time you strapped on a 60lb pack and walked 300 miles in the snow? Just curious.

Uh...a skeeeer who still can't stand snowboarding 25 years later? Gray and bald is frustrating, I understand.
Why would I listen to a "critic" who only watched 20 minutes of the film? It's like a book review done by a guy who only made it 10 pages. I'll make my own determination when my copy arrives. If it sucks I'll be the second to say so, King Marker.
Went to this film last night and walked out after a half hour, what I saw sucked. Classically displays how lame snowboard culture is by and large and a select few like Tom Burt etc. actually have a clue about the BC. Out of 20-30 minutes I was mostly "treated" to the art of making a kicker in the BC. Was I supposed to be impressed that they actually walked from the bottom of the kicker to the starting ramp "On Their Own Two Feet? The film title fits pre-schoolers as well as snowboarders aptly.
