The point and most important thing is that we hear u playing, but we are not.
-
if you listen to the song, the hats just playing quaters along with the snare. then it switches to 8th notes when he goes to the ride, exactly how he's covering it.
-
mate, good attempt, keep practising, but he is doing more work in the real song on the hi hat, its all 8thnotes, your playing 4, most punk rock is fasr 8 notes on the hihat. keep it up mate

YES! I feel like that too hahaa Is very hard to play! but Im sure we can both do it!
hey Oo you said "tempo" haha are you brazilian?

The 16th notes on the hats are actually easier. Hopefully I'll put up a clearer video of the song played perfectly with the 16th notes only. Nope, not Brazilian. Indian. I love tempo. haha

hey, do u play 2 times the cymbal and 1 snare drum in one of the cymbals? Im asking because it doesnt look like you play like that...the correct way! haha no offense! u're a good drum player!

You're right, I realised that afterwards. I hadn't paid attention to the drumming of the the song too well before I went ahead and recorded it. So yes, my hi-hats, for the verses atleast, is half the tempo they should be at. However, if you notice, this half-speed punk beat on the hats is actually hard to play and maintain in tune...atleast that's what I feel. Thanks though!
