OK, so they aren't 'REAL' but they do look kinda cool. They are created using the FREE iPhone app "Action Movie" which allows you to superimpose over your iphone videos.

these effects would work on video where the camera is static and the movement of the object is minimal, but on motorsporting videos in car it just doesnt. nice litlle app though.

@jimmyass - yes, as you say, not ideal as the debris remains visible on screen, especialy the missile one. I thought the rolling car one was apt and the bolder seemed to work quite well.
