@9tomato9 I wish I had an uninterupted version, but since this was never released on dvd and only aired one time, I am glad to have all the clips i have....Yes, you are right, The captain & Tennille are very talented musicians... unlike so many of the current stars....

This is an amazing TV performance, played completely live (including a bit of feedback at the start). Truly live popular music performed by REAL MUSICIANS playing real instruments, and vocalists singing completel yLIVE will be something future generations of children will probably never experience again, whether on TV or at a Concert. That's a shame. It's too bad this video ends abruptly before the end of the song. And of course, the drummers sped up the tempo throughout the song!! LOL

Every spring always brings back great childhood memories of The Captain and Tennille for me and this was one of my very favorites. I remember faking I was sick so I could skip school and go to the record store to buy this the day it came out. :) Thanks for posting!

My favorite singer, Ray Stevens, wrote and published this song. it was a Top-20 pop hit for the Captain and Tennille. Ray recorded his version in 1976 but didn't issue it as a single.

Love this song from their Come In From The Rain cd, it just has so much energy and makes you want to get up and dance! Toni has so much energy they must pick up her vibe miles away!!
